Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This site (waylandautonomy.com) is operated by Wayland Integrated Technologies LLC (“Wayland”, “we”, “us”). We design integrated sensing and autonomy systems. This policy explains what personal information we handle when you visit this site or contact us, and your rights over it.

Wayland is a US-based company. Our details are: [Legal entity name, e.g. Wayland Integrated Tech, Inc., a Delaware corporation, with its principal place of business at (address)]. For any privacy question, contact contact@waylandautonomy.com.

2. Information we collect

We keep data collection deliberately minimal.

  • Information you send us. Our “Request access” form opens a message in your own email client — it does not store anything on this site. When you email us (through the form or directly) we receive the details you choose to share: typically your name, work email, organisation, sector, and a description of what you need.
  • Technical logs. Our hosting provider may record standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to keep the site secure and operational.

We do not run advertising trackers, and this site currently uses no third-party analytics. If we later add privacy-respecting analytics, we will update this policy first.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and assess requests for access to our products.
  • To operate, maintain, and secure this website.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, and export-control obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Legal bases

We are a US company and handle this limited data to respond to enquiries you initiate, to secure the site, and to meet our legal obligations. Where the California CCPA/CPRA or the UK/EU GDPR applies to you, we additionally rely on our legitimate interests and your consent where you have given it.

5. Cookies

This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for the site to function.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the site and our email — currently [hosting / email provider(s)] — under appropriate confidentiality terms, and where we are legally required to do so or to protect our rights. We may also share data in connection with a corporate transaction (e.g. merger or acquisition).

7. International transfers

Your information is processed in the United States [and any other region where hosting/email is operated]. If you contact us from outside the US, your data will be transferred to the US; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision) for any cross-border transfer.

8. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records ([retention period, e.g. 24 months]), then delete or anonymise it. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal information, to object to processing, and to data portability. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there. To exercise any right, email contact@waylandautonomy.com. You may also complain to your state Attorney General or, in the UK/EU, your local data protection authority.

11. Children’s privacy

This site is intended for business and professional users. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version; material changes will be made clear on this page.

13. Contact

Questions about this policy or your data: contact@waylandautonomy.com.
